If you are looking for an honest ProDentim review before buying, this page covers what is in the tablet, what the research on oral probiotics does and does not show, the real price and the refund conditions. Oral health supplements come with bold promises, so we separate what the official page claims from what we could verify.

The short version of our ProDentim review: ProDentim is a once-daily chewable with three probiotic strains and four other ingredients, sold through Digistore24 with a 60-day refund policy. Oral probiotics have been studied for gum health with mixed results, but we found no published trial of the finished product, and ingredient amounts are not informed. It is a supplement, not a replacement for brushing, flossing or a dentist.

ProDentim Review: What Is It and How Does It Work?

ProDentim is a chewable tablet that the official page describes as a “probiotic candy” for the mouth. The idea is to add beneficial bacteria to the mouth so they support a healthier balance than the bacteria associated with gum irritation, bad breath and cavities. The page says to slowly chew one tablet every morning.

That is the seller’s explanation of the mechanism. The page also says the product helps with sinuses, allergies, sleep and digestion, which goes far beyond oral health and is not supported by anything we could check.

Is ProDentim Legit?

What we could verify for this ProDentim review: Digistore24 is named as the retailer, the site publishes terms, privacy, shipping and refund policies, and returns go to an address in Tallmadge, Ohio. Those are signs of a real operation.

Other statements we could not verify. The page says that toothpaste and mouthwash contain “toxic ingredients” that destroy the mouth’s bacteria, and that this explains why teeth can last in fossils but decay in a mouth. It says the product is “designed for all ages and medical conditions”, was made in an “FDA-approved facility”, is “doctor-formulated”, and has “95,000 reviews”, with “97% of customers” ordering six bottles. It cites a 2022 study from a Springer Nature publication without naming it.

The American Dental Association, in contrast, recommends brushing twice a day with fluoride toothpaste. (ADA News) Do not stop using toothpaste because of a sales page.

ProDentim Review: Ingredients and What the Research Shows

The official page lists three probiotic strains, said to total 3.5 billion probiotics, and a “proprietary blend of 4 plants and minerals”. As this ProDentim review confirms, it gives no amount for the blend and does not state the units of the probiotic count.

IngredientWhat the page says it is for
Lactobacillus paracaseiSupports the health of your gums and helps sinuses stay open
B. lactis BL-04Supports the balance of mouth bacteria and a healthy immune system
Lactobacillus reuteriHelps with inflammation and a healthy mouth environment
InulinSupports the good bacteria (a prebiotic)
Malic acid (from strawberries)Helps maintain tooth whiteness, per the page
Tricalcium phosphateSupports tooth health, per the page
PeppermintNatural anti-inflammatory, per the page

The page lists scientific references. Some are journal articles, but several are articles from Healthline, Medium, Livestrong and a supplement website, which are not studies. Among the real research, a 2021 review in Frontiers in Dental Medicine (Schlagenhauf and Jockel-Schneider) says the usefulness of probiotics for gingivitis and periodontitis has been questioned by recent meta-analyses. (full text)

A 2020 systematic review and meta-analysis of 10 placebo-controlled trials in gingivitis, in the Australian Dental Journal (Akram and colleagues), found that probiotics were effective in all the studies, but concluded the evidence was weak because of high variation and limited data. For L. reuteri specifically, one of ProDentim’s strains, the changes in gingival and plaque indices were not statistically significant. (abstract)

A 2023 systematic review in the Brazilian Dental Science journal (Tricoly and colleagues) found that L. reuteri added to standard gum treatment may give supplementary benefits, with better bleeding on probing and probing depth, within limits. (abstract) Those trials gave a probiotic alongside professional treatment for periodontitis, which is not the same as taking a chewable on its own. We did not review L. paracasei, B. lactis BL-04, inulin, malic acid, tricalcium phosphate or peppermint, and none of this research tests the finished tablet.

ProDentim Review: Can It Help With Gums and Bad Breath?

No supplement page can answer that for you. If your gums bleed, your breath stays bad after brushing, or your teeth are sensitive, see a dentist, who can find the cause. Our sister site, thedentalstandards.com, which we also run, explains why gums bleed when you brush and what the oral microbiome is.

ProDentim review: price by package for 2, 3 and 6 bottles with shipping and refund terms

Prices in this ProDentim review were checked on the official page on October 31, 2026 and can change. The page shows strike-through “original” prices, which we leave out. US orders are listed with 5 to 7 working days for delivery and a tracking email within 60 hours. Shipping to Canada, the UK and Ireland, and Australia and New Zealand is listed at $15.95 with 10 to 15 working days. The 6-bottle pack includes three digital guides, with titles such as “Hollywood White Teeth at Home”; the values the page puts on them are the seller’s figures, and the whitening and plaque claims in their descriptions are not supported by anything we could check.

Refund terms. The policy offers 60 days but contradicts itself: its first paragraph counts from the moment you place the order, and its first step counts from the day the order is delivered. You email support with “Refund Request” in the subject line, then send back all bottles, empty or not, with the packing slip. The company does not pay return shipping.

The sales page says you can “return what you haven’t used”, while the policy asks for all bottles, so follow the policy. Refunds can take 5 to 10 days to show on your statement. The policy also advises using the product for at least 3 months before judging it, which is longer than the refund window.

How to Take ProDentim

In our ProDentim review we found the official page says to slowly chew one tablet every morning. A bottle is listed as a 30-day supply. The page does not say whether to chew it before or after brushing. Follow the directions on your own bottle, and keep brushing and flossing as usual.

Who Is Behind ProDentim?

Digistore24 is the named retailer and handles order support. The page calls the product “doctor-formulated” but does not name a doctor, and it does not clearly name the company that makes it. Because the maker is not clearly identified, keep your order confirmation and the return address from the policy page.

Who ProDentim May Suit, and Who Should Skip It

Our ProDentim review suggests a product like this is aimed at adults who already brush, floss and see a dentist, and who want to try an oral probiotic while accepting that results vary. It is not a fit if you want treatment for gum disease, cavities or infection. The seller’s own disclaimer tells people who are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or living with a medical condition to talk to a doctor first. People with weakened immune systems should also ask a doctor before using probiotic supplements.

How We Checked This ProDentim Review

We read the official presentation page, its refund and shipping policies and its reference list. We looked up published research on oral probiotics and on the American Dental Association’s recommendations. We did not buy or test the product and we did not use the testimonials, because we cannot verify them. Where the page does not say something, such as the amount of the blend, we write “not informed” rather than guess.

ProDentim Review: Side Effects and Safety

The page says the ingredients are “generally considered to be safe” and advises people with a medical condition or taking medication to show a bottle to their doctor. That is sensible advice. It does not list side effects or allergen information beyond saying the product is gluten free. Check the label against your own allergies, and ask your dentist or doctor if you have an existing oral health problem.

ProDentim Review: Pros and Cons

  • 60-day refund policy
  • Free US shipping on 3 and 6 bottle packs
  • Ingredients are named on the page
  • Orders handled by Digistore24, with support contacts
  • Easy chewable format
  • No published trial of the finished formula
  • The blend amount and probiotic units are not informed
  • Sales page claims toothpaste is “toxic” and that the product suits all ages and conditions
  • The refund policy contradicts itself on when the 60 days start, and return shipping is paid by the buyer
  • Several references are articles, not studies
Our ProDentim review verdict: a possible add-on if you already take care of your teeth and want to try an oral probiotic, understanding that the evidence is mixed and not specific to this product. The refund window lowers the risk, though you pay to ship it back. It does not replace brushing, flossing or a dentist, and you should not stop using fluoride toothpaste.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is ProDentim legit, or is it a scam?

Orders are handled by Digistore24, and the site publishes terms, privacy, shipping and refund policies with a 60-day refund. That points to a real operation. The sales page also makes sweeping claims, such as that toothpaste contains “toxic ingredients” and that the product is “designed for all ages and medical conditions”, and cites reviews we cannot verify, so read it critically.

2. Does ProDentim really work?

We found no published trial of the finished ProDentim tablet. Research on oral probiotics in general is mixed: a 2020 meta-analysis found weak evidence for gingivitis, and one strain, L. reuteri, showed no significant effect on gingival or plaque indices in that analysis. Results vary and are not guaranteed.

3. Can ProDentim replace brushing and flossing?

No. The American Dental Association recommends brushing twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between teeth daily and seeing a dentist regularly. ProDentim is a supplement, not a replacement for those habits or for dental care.

4. What is in ProDentim?

The official page lists three probiotic strains, Lactobacillus paracasei, B. lactis BL-04 and Lactobacillus reuteri, totalling 3.5 billion probiotics, plus a blend of inulin, malic acid, tricalcium phosphate and peppermint. It does not state the amount of the blend or the units of the probiotic count.

5. How does the ProDentim refund work?

The policy offers 60 days but contradicts itself on when they start: it says from the moment you place the order, then from the day the order is delivered. You email support, send back all bottles, empty or not, with the packing slip, and pay the return shipping. It also advises using the product for at least 3 months, which is longer than the refund window.
